EvenBet Gaming secures five-year Swedish B2B supplier licence from Spelinspektionen
The approval, coming two months after EvenBet secured an equivalent Danish licence, gives the Malta-based provider regulated access to a Swedish online gambling market that generated SEK 6.68 billion in Q1 2026.
B2B suppliers are increasingly pursuing direct regulatory accreditation in Nordic markets, where Spelinspektionen and Spillemyndigheden have tightened supply-chain compliance requirements alongside their operator-licensing regimes. EvenBet Gaming has been granted a five-year B2B supplier licence by Spelinspektionen, giving the Malta-based provider regulated access to Sweden’s iGaming market from 15 July 2026.
Swedish licence and Nordic expansion
EvenBet Gaming Limited has been granted a five-year B2B supplier licence by the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen), giving the company and its operator partners compliant access to Sweden’s regulated market.
The approval covers EvenBet’s full product range, including its poker software suite and turnkey online casino platform, and adds to the company’s existing Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) B2B licence, issued in April 2020.
The Swedish approval follows EvenBet’s five-year B2B supplier licence from the Danish Gambling Authority, granted in May 2026. The consecutive Nordic approvals reflect a wider pattern of B2B suppliers seeking direct regulatory accreditation in Scandinavian markets, where operators may work only with licensed suppliers.
Swedish market at a glance
Sweden’s licensed gambling market generated SEK 6.68 billion in revenue during the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 0.8% on the same period in 2025. Commercial online gambling, covering online casino and sports betting, was the main growth driver, producing SEK 4.44 billion in the quarter, up from SEK 4.30 billion a year earlier and accounting for 66.5% of total licensed market revenue, against 64.8% in the first quarter of 2025.
Sweden’s channelisation rate stood at 84% in 2025, against the regulator’s long-term target of 90%, having fallen from 86% in 2023 and 85% in 2024. Spelinspektionen attributes part of the decline to bonus restrictions that make licensed offerings less competitive with unlicensed sites for some player segments, particularly online casino.
Compliance and certification
EvenBet manages mandatory annual security audits and random number generator (RNG) testing under Spelinspektionen’s licensing requirements, allowing operator partners to use the company’s products without duplicating those compliance steps.
The company’s software is independently tested and certified by iTech Labs, BMM Labs and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), and holds ISO 27001 information security certification.
